Teen Entrepreneurs Making a Difference
Over the next decade, it is anticipated that youth unemployment globally will rise to over one billion young people. This is not only unimaginable it is unacceptable. Young people will try and enter the job market and less than half will find formal jobs. In the long term it is not just economic growth that is impacted, but the social and emotional wellbeing of unemployed youth.
Young people are the most at risk of being left behind in the changing world of work because they lack the skills and experience to gain full-time work. Things need to change from trying to ‘find a job’ to ‘creating a job’.
