How do you keep everything under control when you're working with dozens of subcontractors and suppliers? I mean, let's say I run my business transparently. Or at least I really try to. But how can I say the same thing about everyone I work with? Because I see it as one whole chain where we all depend on each other.

    You won't constantly check everyone, of course, but relying purely on trust isn't a great idea either. Your documentation can be absolutely perfect, especially if you're using approved software, which you can read more about here: https://ceocolumn.com/tips-guide/adapting-to-uae-vat-changes-a-guide-for-contractors/ , but there may still be questions about the documentation of subcontractors and suppliers. I suggest standardizing invoice formats with contractors so that everything follows a single template. It's also important to validate key fields like TRN, tax code, and delivery date before an invoice reaches accounting. And it's a good idea to do your own checks before the FTA starts theirs.

    You should probably do some checks and request documents if that's possible. I'm not sure what the current requirements are, but if there's some kind of checklist, it's worth following it and checking your suppliers.
