Are you an inverse paranoid?

This time last year I interviewed Jack Canfield as part of our collaboration on the Genius Guide to Success. Of the different success principles Jack talks about, one of my favourites is Principle #6: “Become an inverse paranoid”

Jack quotes Stan Dale: “I’ve always been the opposite of a paranoid. I operate as if everyone is part of a plot to enhance my well-being.”

He tells the story of his first mentor, W. Clement Stone, who was described as an inverse paranoid because he chose to believe the whole world was secretly in on a plot to do him good.

Instead of seeing every difficulty or challenging event as negative, he saw it for what it could be – something that was meant to enrich him, empower him or advance his causes.

What changes happen when you believe the whole world is part of a conspiracy to support your success? In such a world, miracles become possible. In fact, they become probable.

“I am realistic. I expect miracles” ~ Wayne Dyer
