This video is about paul reps, one of my early favorite American haiku poetry painters. He wrote unorthodox haiku poetry paintings with a simultaneous sense of humor and profundity. Although I never met him, he was definitely one of my mentors and lead to an early interest in both calligraphy and Zen, as well as one of my inspirations for moving to Japan.
