Bea Benkova transforms the lives of women. When talking to her about it, you can see Bea’s passion for this radiates through her. Her purpose is, as she tells us, to bring forth a new culture through the power of woman, in collaboration with men. Bea’s work has always been about mentoring and guiding women to live their best lives.
It’s a powerful thought and Bea’s company GIFEW, the Global Institute for Evolving Women, is at the heart of it. From Masterclasses to Scholarships, and Partnerships to Programmes, Bea’s commitment to the women she encounters is easy to see. GIFEW is thriving in 2020.
- Beginnings
Bea’s journey with Genius Group is a long and fulfilling one. Starting all the way back in 2007, in those early days of Roger building the Genius Group we see today, Bea and her partner quickly got on board becoming not only practitioners but also collaborators with Roger. For Bea, it was about finding her purpose, something she had left a career in Investment Banking to do.
Over the thirteen years between first connecting with Roger and today, Bea has grown her business to great success. Helping 1000’s of women learn how to live their best lives. GIFEW itself was born in 2013 and from the outset was imagined as a digital global business. The team delivering content digitally from the get-go.
However, what COVID revealed for Bea wasn’t that her product wasn’t suited for a digital world but the business around it wasn’t. GIFEW still relied heavily on word of mouth as the only channel to market and had no digital customer journey for their online courses. It was an eye-opening moment for Bea and as a person who takes action, she knew who to lean on for support.
- Getting Support
With the problem identified, Bea joined the Crisis Leadership Academy to build a solution and it quickly revealed the gaps they needed to plug, which they immediately began working on. In an interesting business move, Bea also then joined both the Genius Accelerator Programme with Michelle Clark, as well as beginning to work with Suraj at Genius Marketing Solutions.
This double-ended approach enabled Bea and her team to work on expanding their channels to market through various offerings. They focused on launching a Global Partnership Programme that filled within a week, and a Global Scholarship Programme that received over a hundred applicants. Being part of the GAP enabled Bea to take her promotion plan to a whole new level much more quickly than planned, and it enabled her to take the quantum leap in business she’d been looking for.
- Faster with Higher Impact
And it wasn’t just the work with Michelle that transformed her business, Suraj enabled GIFEW to grow by focusing on developing its online community channels. GIFEW was able to launch a whole new digital community to connect with Woman online and began hosting masterclasses that created a 30% signup rate to their online courses.
It also managed to increase their database by 50% and grew their free community by 10%. Truly some incredible numbers. Best yet, as of this week, GIFEW is now launching its biggest and most transformative programme yet; “Reclaim Your Best Life”. As also excitingly will be hosting the GIFEW Global Woman Awards.
The lessons are many but for Bea having the right Mentors was the essential key for success. To achieve quantum leaps in business, it’s important you get advice and support from those who can shorten your learning cycles. It’s about developing lazer focus on and commitment to your business. And most of all, it’s about understanding yourself. Knowing your profile and working with your top skills to achieve the best possible outcomes.
