In recent days I hesitated to introduce myself wondering how I would explain ... Finding a quote ‘Only a prepared mind sees the opportunity’ seemed to summarise succinctly. Seeking to ascribe accurately, more was revealed. It is a derivation; omitting an important facet ie the need for courage, ‘Chance favours the prepared mind and opportunity favours the bold’ Louis Pasteur.
A verse repeatedly emphasised to me not to hesitate ‘Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.’ Joshua 1:9
With the year we have all lived through, it is understandable for any of us to be challenged as we face a new one; even if we are not ‘starting again’.
