Steve Jobs, an entrepreneurial legend and the man who changed the world as we know it. He shifted the world we live in with his inventions. His innovations have likely touched nearly every aspect -- computers, movies, music and mobile. He’s considered the “Father of the Digital Revolution,” a “master of innovation,” and a “design perfectionist.”

For entrepreneurs, Jobs' greatest legacy is the set of principles that drove his success.

Here are a few lessons from Steve Jobs that budding entrepreneurs can take tips from in their entrepreneurial journey and unleash their "Inner Steve Jobs."

★ Be Limitless
It’s a fact that most people live inside of a box — a social construct that keeps everyone within it. However, you have to realize, life is practically limitless, and you don’t have to live inside of a box. The world as we know it today has been shaped by people that are “no smarter than you,” as Steve Jobs himself put it. Therefore, do not limit yourself, or your potential, instead change or mould it to make it even better.

★ Follow Your Passion
Jobs once said, "People with passion can change the world for the better." Asked about the advice he would offer would-be entrepreneurs, he said, "I'd get a job as a busboy or something until I figured out what I was really passionate about." That's how much it meant to him. Passion is everything!

Some people say that passion is overrated, but transformative entrepreneurs know they can't be successful without it. Find your true passion. Do what you love to do a make a difference! The only way to do great work is to love what you do.

★ Design For Yourself
It may sound cliché, but this is so true, you are the captain of your own ship; don’t let anyone else take the wheel. You should not let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your inner voice.

Sit back and think about what you want out of life. What is something that you need, which you also think that other people could need? Also, when you create your product, would it be good enough for you? Are you satisfied with it?

★ Build A Great Team
As you start to grow, you’re going to realize that you need a great team of people that are going to be willing to go to the next level with you. It’s important to have the right people — people that are as passionate as you about what you’re doing, and they’re willing to help you go for it.

The people you surround yourself with, are the people that will shape your future. If you surround yourself with smart and positive people that share your vision, well then, you have a bright future ahead of you.

★ Don’t Do It For Money
“I was worth about over a million dollars when I was 23 and over ten million dollars when I was 24, and over a hundred million dollars when I was 25 and… it wasn’t that important – because I never did it for the money.” — Steve Jobs

Money is a great thing, and it certainly opens up some doors for you, but you shouldn’t do something purely for monetary gain. Money can easily go to your head and cloud your thoughts. Think about the passion rule we talked about above. Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life!

★ Unleash Your Creativity
The world's most creative entrepreneurs look outside of their fields for ideas. Jobs once said the secret to creativity "comes down to trying to expose yourself to the best things that humans have done and then try to bring those things into what you're doing."

Creativity doesn't just happen. Expose yourself to ideas outside the field you're working in.

★ Be Proud Of Your Products
Steve Jobs prided himself on his Apple line. When he returned to Apple (1997), he took a company with 350 products and reduced them to 10 quality products in a two-year period. Why? So he could put the "A-Team" on each product.

Create products that you can proudly recommend to friends and family, if your product is great, money will follow. Make sure your product is high quality and it’s something that people would love to use.

★ Build Around Customers
Customers tend to trust companies who are serious about what they do, and willing to take the time to achieve a deep understanding of their craft. Take the time every day to learn more about your customers, their industry and their challenges.

Needless to say, gaining customers trust is the ultimate key. You must also have a product that customers want and need, and the ability to show how you’re adding value, solving problems, and so forth. Always keep your customers in mind. They’re the most important thing, and you have to make sure that the user experience is also top-notch.

★ Ask For Feedback
Ask for feedback from people with diverse backgrounds. Each one will tell you one useful thing. If you're at the top of the chain, sometimes people won't give you honest feedback. In this case, disguise yourself, or get feedback from other sources. Focus on those who will use your product – listen to your customers first.

★ Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish
Without a doubt, this is Steve Jobs’ most popular mantra. You should always strive for better. There’s never a “good enough,” always try to improve. As people, we’ve been conditioned to believe that certain things are “foolish,” and certain things are impossible, or a waste of time. With thinking like that, you’ll never change the world.

Never be satisfied, and always push yourself. Do (or be willing to keep trying) the things people say cannot be done.

See genius in your craziness, believe in yourself, believe in your vision, and be constantly prepared to defend those ideas.

“For the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: ‘If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?’ And whenever the answer has been ‘No’ for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.” — Steve Jobs
