We spoke with Esmeralda Herrera, founder of Academia del Bienestar, about her entrepreneurial journey

Where were you and the business prior to joining Genius Group

I was transitioning from a 20-year-old innovation consulting business, Austral Solutions, obtaining grants for companies and in economic development service for governments, to an e-learning start-up "Academia del Bienestar” that mixes wellness and business, including personal and entrepreneurship development and growth. I was creating e-learning content with government grants for start-ups and also trying to create, market, and sell my own programs. It was hard. 

What was your experience in Crystal Circle?  Did the mentoring benefit you and your business?

First of all, I felt "at home" when I discovered the mix of personal growth, professional development, and futurism. I just love it. I discovered I took the Genius test years ago, but at that time it did not resonate, but in 2020, after a lot of personal work, I saw it with a new perspective and just love it. 

I discovered more about my profile, my company level, and all the opportunities I could find within GeniusU and its community members.  I felt overwhelmed at first, so I decided to go slow, and I started to discover how to add value through GeniusU.

I found people on GeniusU that I trusted and also inspired me. In Genius Group I found a company whose purpose is 100% aligned with mine but with a high level of achievement and a high-touch and high-tech approach. I felt really inspired. It gave me new energy and confidence that I have the support to reach high goals.

Also, after completing some of the Microschools, I understood why I have been, for so many years, at the same level. Most importantly, I now understand how to go to the next levels and help my clients in a much more profound way. 

I implemented what I learned and then I was ready to spread this community to my clients, prospects, and other markets. It was my way to contribute and leverage this great content to my country, where there is nothing else like it. 

Where are you and your business at today and what are your future plans?

I am the Spanish Latin American Translator GU Partner investing in translating the fundamentals tools and building a partner network and Genius Igniters. My plans are to find partners for every Latin American country and translate and promote the best content and reach 1 million entrepreneurs in the next five years.
