We spoke with An Nguyen about his entrepreneurial journey
How did you come across Genius Group and what inspired you to join the community?
I wanted to learn how to gain new skills within business and was aware that Genius Group taught entrepreneurial strategies to become a business leader. I first signed up to the Wealth Dynamics Masters to learn how to create a dynamic business plan covering every element of my business concept as well as a step-by-step strategy. That inspired me to join the year-long Crystal Circle mentoring group.
What was your experience in Crystal Circle? Did the mentoring benefit you and your business?
Crystal Circle is an inspiring programme designed to help people realise their strengths and play to them. I was so impressed by the content and by the Founder, Roger James Hamilton - he is a true visionary and a master storyteller.
It’s not so much about training people but rather guiding them. Before when I was coaching people, I would find out their strengths and weaknesses and work on their weaknesses to improve their flow. I’m Asian, we are trained to see the flaws in people and keep working on them. But since joining Crystal Circle, my mindset has changed to focus on the strengths and hone them. When people are celebrated for what they are good at, their confidence and self-esteem is boosted.
Where are you and your business at today and what are your future plans?
Thanks to my experience with Crystal Circle, I believe the programme can help so many entrepreneurs in my own community. I have therefore become a partner, setting up our co-founded company, Super X Academy, which will offer GeniusU and Entrepreneurs Institute content and programmes in Vietnamese. I look forward to our new educational consultancy supporting the Vietnamese community so they too can benefit from this invaluable knowledge.
