At Tau and Matla Game Lodges in South Africa, the team have opened up their veggie garden and started harvesting some of the spinach which has been used in the preparation of guests' lunch which is an amazing start on their journey to become more sustainable. The teams at Tau and Matla are hoping to get more and more use out of the veggie garden at the lodge so that the customers benefit from really fresh produce, they reduce the food miles needed to bring food to the lodges and it will bring their fresh produce cost down a bit in the future, especially in the last quarter of the year.
