Rebirth

there will be moments when
you will bloom fully and then
wilt, only to bloom again.
If we can learn anything from
flowers it is that resilience is born
even when we feel like we are
dying.
I believe this poem captures the essence of where we are today as so many things we thought were right are replaced by something new.
We see it in technology, education, social norms and economics.
As the boomer generation moves into the senior stage of their lives, the young will step in and create the world in their own vision.
The pain in the short term is what we will pay for the peace and abundance we have taken for granted in the period of the boomer bubble.
This can bring war, chaos and strife, but like all transitions in the past our technology will have raised humanity up to the next level.
If we do this right, more will share in the abundance and human equality and respect will be improved.
