Roger's Update

It's Partnership Season:

We have had a busy month of partnerships, with two of our partnerships, with Abundance Global and Rethink Academy making the news.

We're also partnering with a whole series of new mentors who will be joining us on our upcoming AI Investor Summit, and who are featuring in Revealed Film's latest documentary "Six Figure Side Hustle", and with Vatom for the launch of our Genius Metaversity at the Summit.

With our upcoming Genie AI Beta launch and Metaversity launch we're riding on the biggest tech wave since the launch of the mobile internet 15 years ago. Following the launch of OpenAI's GPT3 & GPT4, Google's Bard AI and Microsoft's Bing AI, we're about to see Apple have their biggest new product launch since the iPhone in 2007, with the launch of Apple Reality Pro headset. That means this is the month when the base technology of AI and AR and our vision of a personalized, gamified global classroom for learning will finally be in place, and we will be leading the coming wave of Web3 learning & earning - with an increasing number of tech and content partners joining us.

E-Squared Education

Ngazibini Ukubam is a 5-year-old Grade R learner at Ed-U College (Port Elizabeth) NPC Pre-Primary School. His father, Steven, has had an entrepreneurial tailoring business in a street vendor space in front of the school for many years. He has been working as a street vendor for the past 19 years and the street culture is a huge inspiration to him.

Steven enrolled Ngazibini with Ed-U College after years’ observation and he is highly impressed with the school’s dedication to its learners, the behaviour and discipline of the learners and the fact that no effort is spared to create a wholesome environment for all learners.

Here is Ngazibini with his father Steven.

Sinesipho Qwele is a 14-year-old Grade 9 learner at Ed-U College with an amazing talent in art. She has made the final round in a national art competition in South Africa in her age category. Also with entrepreneurial spirit, Sinesipho is founder of an art club at Ed-U College, teaching like-minded peers the talent she has in abundance.

 

Entrepreneur Resorts

On the weekend of 13-14th May, Tau and Matla Lodges participated in Global Big Day on World Migratory Bird Day, an annual celebration of the birds around us.  Some of the Tau Guides hosted an IG live and managed to find an incredible 140 birds!!!

Now our friends at Tau and Matla may be used to seeing these birds, but for some of us outside of South Africa, we can only dream of seeing such beauties, including:

Green pigeons, Yellow-Throated sandgrouse, Capped Wheatear, Red - headed Weaver, Stonechat, Swallow-tailed Bee-eater, Lark-like Bunting, Double-banded Courser, Pearl-spotted Owlet, White-Crested Helmetshrikes and Fairy Flycatcher.

    

Globally the day delivered 7517 species with South Africa being 16th on the global list of most species seen (488).
