THE PROCESS

1. You do my Baseline Assessment intervention to determine the AS-IS and To-Be-Positions for us to learn to know each other and provide the basis for the project planning. The intervention is over a maximum period of  six weeks, but can be shortened to two weeks or less depending on your capacity to focus on the following, including two virtual mentoring sessions:

   • Week 1 and 2:  Assessing your thinking using the Power Thinking methodology and doing a developmental plan.
   • Week 3 and 4: Doing an AS-IS assessment of your business depicting cash flow followed by a mentoring session.
   • Week 5 and 6: Doing your Goals planning for the next 3 years including environed cash flow.

      

2. We enter an “Emotional Agreement” to agree on the terms of our arrangement and each other’s roles to be performed during the project.

3. We write the specification/scope of the project.

4. We develop a project plan.

5. We implement the plan and you are trained with my 2Interact profiling to synchronise our thinking and lay the basis for all our communication.

Why use Power Thinking in the Baseline Assessment?

Power Thinking offers leaders the information they need to evaluate their current thinking proficiencies, determine areas for improvement, and enhance their thinking skills. The application includes the Yale Assessment of Thinking, a standardised assessment measure that enables them to determine their abilities in the cognitive domains found to be crucial to be an outstanding leader.

Once these thinking competencies are developed, leaders will have the ability to reach sound decisions more quickly, solve problems more effectively, and think more creatively. They will also be better prepared to identify and strategically confront the issues that are most important to the current and future well-being of their organisations.

Why is 2Interact training required? 

When people are uncertain, the most critical skill is to communicate in a way that creates comfort and seeing the future. People must be equipped with the ability to understand how people differ in their preference in communication. Some people like detail, some like the big picture, some like emotions and some like structured communication. If you do not understand this, you will communicate in your preference and completely lose out on communicating effectively.

Knowing your preference will empower you to communicate with clarity during crisis situations and formulate effective messages and conversations that will make people more committed to your interaction with others.

How does the partnership work?

My approach covers different modes of business advising. Partner Level membership will depend on your envisioned project where I will offer services in the following range as illustrated in the diagram.

The intervention is based on a value-based consulting principal. We determine the AS-IS positioning and the TO-BE end state in cashflow as base figures. We agree on my % share in the improvement. My share is then paid in 1/12 monthly retainers with the remainder paid when financial goal is achieved. 

Let’s assume my share is $1997 which is paid in $167 per month as retainer. This will entitle you to a minimum of 5 hours of my time per month. If the financial goal is achieved in 6 months, the 6th payment will be $1162 ($1997 less 5x$167 monthly payments made).
