If you want to market yourself, build a community, trust etc. - do it on MERIT !!
A good example on how NOT to do it: look at the MLM industry - how they just SPAM their sales pitch out (wasting money & time - especially that of others :-(
Here on GeniusU, the best you can do, is to be ACTIVELY Knowledge Sharing!!
- the people will automatically be seeking you out, as the person to go to for information - on which ever topic you work with!
And yes: the number of members/followers speaks volumes of course ;-)
A little tip:
To put - : + , . * or other signs in your profile, and/or, circle names - DOES NOT build trust (on the contrary I think) - only maybe a higher ranking on the list - IF you are active, that is ;-)
