Here’s a thing: Whenever we set  out with a purpose, plan or proposal for success, the amount of faith,  actual faith, will direct and proportionately affect our chances of  success. 

Faith is the ‘secret’ ingredient to all who achieve success

Welcome  to the 2nd of the 13 principles of ‘Think and Grow Rich’.

The 2nd Principle – Faith

If  you believe in your plan and purpose then they will be boosted by that  belief. However, as you already know, your beliefs can change. Beliefs  wax and wane. A far stronger elixir for success is FAITH. With faith you truly give your intentions the greatest boost.

While  ‘faith’ surely includes the element of ‘belief’, they are not one and  the same. Certainly one must believe that something, or someone, exists  before it is possible to put one’s faith in that person or thing.  However, I can believe that some things do not affect my life. I believe  China exists, but I do not live my life any differently because of my  belief. The Bible tells us that this type of ‘belief’ is not true faith  and will not result in a saving relationship with God.

To  put one’s ‘faith’ in something, or someone, means that one is putting  his or her trust in that person or thing. Who or what one trusts can  have far-reaching, even eternal, ramifications. It means reliance on,  dependence upon, that person or thing. I can say that I believe a plane  can take me from here to there, but if I’m afraid to get on it, I reveal  that I have no ‘faith’ in that plane. Also, if I do not get on the  plane, I have no reason to expect it to take me anywhere. I must  exercise my ‘faith’ in that plane, by boarding it (and staying on it),  if I am to receive the benefits it offers.

Whatever your Business or Commercial plans, purpose or proposal, they will be boosted by the following 6 steps:

1st)  Fix in your mind the exact amount of money or outcome you desire. It is  not sufficient merely to say "I want plenty of money." 

2nd)  Determine exactly the service or value that you intend to give (there  is no such reality as "something for nothing") in return for the money  you desire. Write out the Daily Standards that you will have to Be,  deliver or live by, in order to best provide the service which will give  you the rewards you desire.

3rd)  Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and begin at once  WITH FAITH, whether you are ready or not, to put this plan into action.  Ensure that your Daily Standards are commensurate and congruent with  your intentions (or you’re just kidding yourself). Low Daily standards  do not produce superior outcomes.

4th)  Write out a clear, concise statement of the amount of money you intend  to acquire, name the time limit for its acquisition and state what you  intend to give in return for the money. 

5th) Create a written statement ofyour objectives and of the Daily Basis, Criteria, Levels, Qualities and Rules (Standards) you will maintain, WITH FAITH, to accumulate your wealth.  Live by these Standards Daily. Just one day at a time. Surrender to your  outcome, let go now and just focus totally and exclusively on  maintaining your Standards each day

6th  ) Read your written statement aloud, twice daily, once just before  retiring at night, and once after arising in the morning. AS YOU READ,  SEE AND FEEL,HAVE FAITH THAT YOU ARE ALREADY IN POSSESSION.
