Deborah Harris, founder, director and strategist of  The Grow CFO Co. , Based in Australia, has been awarded runner up in the global Wealth Dynamics Masters Program from Entrepreneurs Institute.

The masters program is a yearly event attended by entrepreneurs from all over the world. One of the reasons Deborah stood out and was awarded the runner up was her rapid pivot to become a fintech company, in response to the pandemic. Recent research from KPMG shows that the Australian fintech sector grew in 20201, despite the challenges of the COVID-19 recession. Deborah identified a clear need for companies to have a virtual CFO during the pandemic and structured her business accordingly.

Deborah and her virtual Chief Financial Officer team grow the strategic financial capabilities of purpose driven businesses by creating the key strategies to maximize revenue, profit and cash flow available for growth. During the pandemic, this capability has been the difference between surviving and thriving for many companies.

A passionate philanthropist, speaker and entrepreneur, Deborah has always been involved in the financial and accounting side of business. However, finding the role of filing tax returns unfulfilling, as many companies did not enjoy or want to pay their taxes, when the pandemic hit, Deborah decided to shift from offering a service to educating her clients. She set out to create a company from which she could bring wealth and prosperity to companies and entrepreneurs and her previous side hustle of offering strategic forward financial planning became her main offering. Deborah has found her flow and thanks to a market upswing the business is now celebrating its fourth record month in a row.
