Blake Mycoskie is an entrepreneur, author, and philanthropist who founded TOMS Shoes, a company that donates a pair of shoes to a child in need for every pair of shoes sold. Mycoskie's business model, known as "One for One," has since expanded to include other products such as eyewear, coffee, and bags.

Mycoskie grew up in Texas and started his entrepreneurial journey at a young age, selling stamps and baseball cards. After college, he started a laundry service in his apartment complex, which he later sold for a profit. He went on to start several other successful businesses, including a billboard company and a reality television production company.

In 2006, Mycoskie took a trip to Argentina where he witnessed children without shoes and the impact it had on their lives. This experience led him to start TOMS Shoes and the One for One movement. The company quickly gained popularity and has donated millions of shoes to children in need around the world.

Mycoskie's success has not only impacted those who have received shoes through his company's donations, but it has also inspired other entrepreneurs to incorporate social responsibility into their business models. He has since written a book, "Start Something That Matters," and has continued to use his platform to promote social and environmental causes.
