Florida Gov. Rick Scott declared a state of emergency today over the ongoing harmful red tide bloom that is killing tons of marine life on the state's west coast. The declaration covers Collier, Lee Charlotte, Sarasota, Manatee, Hillsborough and Pinellas counties.
