The nominees and winner for the Genius Metaversity Shine Awards in August have been announced. These awards are specifically designed to recognise our partners, community and customers within the Genius Metaversity.

Our New Zealand country partners, Kyron and Beryl of FreedomCo, have recently acquired education company Wealth Mentor.

Wealth Mentor has long been a pinnacle in the New Zealand property investment education sector having transformed the lives of thousands of students.

Wealth Mentor's enterprise promise is "Making Wealth Accessible to All" with a specific mission of bringing financial prosperity to the South Pacific. To achieve this vision, Wealth Mentor will be adopting GeniusU partner products in order to implement a full financial education curriculum, supporting students from kindergarten to retirement and beyond.

Kyron followed the full light house principle on Wealth Mentor. He started as a customer of the business in 2012, then became a yellow level mentor within the business in 2014 and in 2020 when the pandemic hit, he took charge and lead a green level team for marketing. And now he has purchased the company at Blue Level in 2023.

Meet Andres Nunez, a remarkable student whose journey at our university has been nothing short of inspiring. Andres was initially drawn to our institution, UAV, based on glowing recommendations from his cousins who spoke highly of its academic excellence. Intrigued, he decided to give it a chance, and it turned out to be a decision that changed his life.

Andres embarked on his educational path by obtaining a certificate in massage therapy, an accomplishment that would prove to have a profound impact on his future. With his newfound skills, he was able to secure a successful career in the field, which provided him with financial stability and a flexible schedule. Thanks to his massage therapy degree, Andres achieved remarkable feats, including purchasing his own home, multiple cars, and embarking on adventures across 33 countries. His dedication and hard work paid off, enabling him to lead a comfortable and fulfilling life.

Motivated by his early successes, Andres continued his educational journey and pursued an associate degree in healthcare management, followed by a bachelor's degree in business administration. Despite the challenges of working full-time while attending school full-time, including grueling overnight shifts, Andres persevered. His relentless determination and unwavering commitment to his goals propelled him forward, allowing him to achieve one milestone after another.

As Andres approaches the completion of his bachelor's degree, he contemplates the possibility of pursuing a master's degree in business administration, demonstrating his ambition and desire for continuous personal and professional growth.

Throughout his journey, Andres has been guided by a personal mantra that encapsulates his approach to life: "Do good and good will come to you." This philosophy has served him well, inspiring him to make positive contributions to the world around him while reaping the rewards of his own efforts.

Andres Nunez's story is a testament to the transformative power of education and the resilience of the human spirit. His achievements exemplify the possibilities that await those who are driven, dedicated, and willing to overcome obstacles on their path to success. As Andres continues to shape his future, we are confident that he will inspire others with his remarkable story and serve as a shining example of what can be achieved through perseverance and a genuine desire to make a difference.
