Message from Roger

I hope you’ve had a great start to the year.  We’ve got some exciting growth plans across all of our companies for the year ahead and I look forward to sharing them with you in this newsletter each week.  

I’m looking forward to speaking with our investors on Tuesday 10th January and answering all the questions that have been submitted.  

For my first blog of 2023 I shot this video in Bali, where Genius Group began.

The idea for a company with a new type of education curriculum - one based on a personalized entrepreneurial, life-long learning pathway - was inspired by Buckminster Fuller’s concept of “The Final Exam”.  To watch the video and read the blog, click here… but do also read the rest of this newsletter to see what’s going on in our community.

Our Community

Two of our longstanding community members Beryl Oldham and Kyron Gosse have partnered up to become our New Zealand license holders.  They aim to establish New Zealand as a country of excellence that will help us to model country leaders in other areas around the world.

Beryl, founder of Complete Learning Solutions, is a trusted leader in the Learning Management Systems space in New Zealand and Internationally.   Kyron is the CEO of FreedomCoNZ, helping people to create freedom so that they can stop working the daily grind and start living a more meaningful life following a bigger mission.  Both Beryl and Kyron have been members of the Crystal Circle mentoring groups and credit Roger’s mentoring and guidance to their successful business and personal development growth.

      

 

Genius School 

The founder and CEO of E-Squared, Lili Niemann, was recognized at the Standard Bank Top Women Awards 2022 in Johannesburg, South Africa. Ms Niemann was awarded the first runner-up position in the ‘Top Women Owned Business’ category which was no mean feat given the 20 other amazing nominees there.  

The event had a stellar cast of presenters that included Yvonne Chaka Chaka who handed Bonang 'Queen B' Matheba the Top Women Media Personality award.

 

Entrepreneur Resorts

The iLAB Accelerator Express Program is restarting in March this year.  Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the program had to pause for a couple of years.  iLAB is a growth accelerator program and cultural retreat experience for entrepreneurs globally. The world-class facilitators and mentors of iLAB share proven business growth strategies for both new and existing business owners.

The program is available in March, May and November-December at Vision Villa in Bali and in August at Tau Game Lodge in South Africa.  The retreat is 8 days (7 nights) long, includes accommodation and healthy food plus amazing extras such as daily group activities, unlimited coconuts (Bali) and a welcome massage upon arrival! 

This is a great opportunity for start-ups and established business owners looking to learn Genius principles to scale their ventures.

 

TAU Game Lodge 

We could write a whole newsletter on the wonderful reviews that guests share on social media of their stay at the stunning Tau Game Lodge in the Madikwe Game Reserve in South Africa.

Recent guests shared some fantastic videos of their stay – you can view them on Tau’s Instagram.

   

 

Genius University

Another great start to the year at UAV who are proud to share that 21 new Emergency Medical Technician students have started their programme this year.  This means that 21 new first responders will be ready to be deployed in the Antelope Valley community in late April.

 

One of UAV’s instructors, Dr Ruzi is collaborating with one of the most famous physicists in the world, Professor Yasuhide Fukumoto at Kyushu University in Japan.  Dr Ruzi and Professor Fukumoto are researching the motion of a toroidal magnetic vortex tube with the Hall effect.  This is a topic on vortex dynamics in magnetohydrodynamics and plasma physics, and has a wide applicability to astrophysical phenomena, such as solar magneto-flux loops.

They aim to submit their research paper to the journal Physics of Fluids, which is published by the American Institute of Physics, by the end of 2023.

     

 

Investor News

We will be holding a virtual investor meeting on Tuesday January 10 where Roger will be providing an update on Genius Group and its subsidiaries and respond to shareholder enquiries.  To ensure all enquiries are answered, all shareholder questions need to be submitted in advance to the email address investor@geniusgroup.net.

We announced the that the initial results of the investigation made by Christian Levine Law Group and Warshaw Burstein, LLP, indicates that certain individuals and/or companies appear to have sold (but not delivered) a significant amount of the stock of the company, which is illegal and appears to be part of a market manipulation scheme seeking to artificially depress the price of the securities of the company.  You can read more here.
